In the purist sense, I’m a Creative Director and a content creator. I’m am both a seasoned Copywriter and Art Director. I’ve had consulting roles that called me a Creative Strategist, a Head of Content, Creative Marketing Lead and even a Brand Architect. Point is, I’ve learned to grow with the industry and its needs.
I’ve been hired to be both the adult in the room and the person who can think with a fool’s recklessness. I live for the opportunities where I can do both.
From agencies to in-house, startups to multi-national monoliths, I’ve worked at some pretty amazing places on some pretty amazing brands for some pretty amazing people. I’ve even lead a couple of creative departments where people have said the same about me. At least to my face.
Most recently, I helped start, brand and run an agency. Making the work better was the job. But helping my team grow personally and collectively was the reward. It must’ve worked because the company is now over 250 people in 7 locations around the globe.
My fractional consulting relationships are often developing big ideas with supporting content quickly and stepping into a leadership role to provide stability, creativity and perspective.
And despite all the self-reverential nonsense written here, when I’m part of a team I’m conscious enough to only use the words We and Us.
